In the summer of 2010 I took several cases of old slides back to Colorado from Michigan. I rented a professional scanner and scanned most of them one by one, enjoying the trip down memory lane and seeing some for the first time.
These photos from the 60s and 70s, mostly from my Dad’s side of the family, capture moments with friends, former homes and cars, events with family, a trip to Europe, and regular travels to Florida where my aunt relocated and my Grandmother spent winters to escape the Michigan winters.
I haven’t retouched them all yet, but slowly working on cleaning them up as time allows.
